Miss Olivia, you are two months old today! Even though it's only been two months, I feel like you've been part of my life for so much longer. It is an absolute joy to be your mother. I wish I could spend every second of the day enjoying my time with you. You are one cute little girl. Your dad and I just can't get over how adorable you are. You have just started smiling and it makes our hearts swell with joy when your face lights up with that smile that goes from ear to ear. You've also discovered eating your hands which is the cutest thing ever. Sometimes you managed to get your thumb in your mouth and then you start sucking like one couldn't believe. We laugh every time.
You've started mostly sleeping through the night but we still can't seem to part ways so you're stuck in our bed still. We just love snuggling with you all night and waking up to your adorable face in the morning. You love to sleep in and it seems to take you a long time of grunting and stretching before you actually open those big blue eyes of your. And kid, you are one noisy little girl. No matter what you're doing: eating, sleeping, just hanging out... it's full of noise. Darling little noises if you ask me. You've also started to try to "talk" to us with the cutest little coo's.
One of your favorite things is bathtime. You act like such a princess during your bath, all sprawled out and leisurely like. I have so much fun getting you clean, playing with your long hair (well, long on half of the top at least), and then getting you all dressed in PINK! You are such a good little girl and really tolerate the bows and headbands well. And actually, you tolerate everything well. We drag you all over the place and you seem to adjust to every situation. You love to look around and see new things. Oh, and you are the best snuggler I've ever know. I love picking you up because you wrap those chubby little arms around me and give me the biggest little hug. It melts my heart.
At the dr. visit you weighed 9 lbs. 15 oz. (25%) and were 22 1/4 inches long (50%). You did not like getting your shots one little bit and watching you scream from the pain made me cry right along with you. But you were fine after just a little bit and were back to your happy little self.
Olivia, we love you so much and are so happy you're home and healthy. You have blessed our lives more than you could ever possibly know.
